#1. Do not leave your cell phone on top of your car while you are putting things in the backseat. When you come to the first stoplight, it will side down your windshield and into the street. Recovery is difficult and potentially hazardous.
#2. Do not leave out your lunch on the counter while you go upstairs to finish getting ready for work--even if it is all tightly sealed in your lunch bag. This is especially important when you: (a) have cats in your house and (b) have meat in your sandwich. Velco and plastic are not adequate feline barriers.

If you ever find an adequate feline barrier, let me know. Cupboards don't even work when my cats are hungry enough.
