Dogs are Amazing

So while I was on Hilton Head Island last week, my friends and I visited a nature center. At the center I learned about a local woman who had trained her dog to find the nests of sea turtles. Apparently, the dog has been very successful this year in finding turtle nests. Using the dog speeds up the process and helps to prevent egg breakage. I thought that this was fascinating! Why hasn't anyone done this before? If I lived near the coast, I would teach Beamer to find sea turtle nests.
