So I borrowed a few kids this week and took a short trip to the beach. A yearly trip to the beach is obligatory when you live in North Carolina. We had a great time. We didn't eat healthy, we stayed up late, I didn't work. (Just kidding, I did work a little bit because I had to get a survey out.) But we had a good time and I have successfully introduced three young girls to the magical world of Jane Austen. I consider the trip a success.

I can't write more now because I burned my little finger making almond roca and it needs to be iced.
