So one of my favorite things about Lucerne, Switzerland was the bells. First, when MBC and I climbed to the top of one of the towers of the old city wall, the bells of all the churches in the city started chiming. They went on for at least 10-15 minutes, and it sounded beautiful.
Also, Switzerland's dairy farmers put big bells around the cows' necks before leading them up the mountain to the grazing land. They do this so that they can easily find the cows. When we were driving through the countryside (and riding the cable car up the mountain) we could hear the cow bells ring as the cows wandered through the fields grazing. It sounded so great that I made a short video.
